The Devil and Superintelligent Artificial Intelligence
In the beginning, electricity was merely a mysterious spark produced by rubbing a piece of amber against wool. Yet humanity—driven by its eternal curiosity—set out to tame it.
In the eighteenth century, Benjamin Franklin discovered that lightning was not the wrath of the gods, but rather an energy that could be harnessed.
Then came Faraday, Edison, and Tesla, who illuminated the nights, powered machines, and opened a door that would never again be closed.
With each new invention—from the electric light bulb to the radio, and then to the first electronic computers—humanity drew one step closer to a world once imaginable only in myths: a world where machines dominate matter, and intelligence governs existence.
But was this evolution merely a coincidence?**
**Or is there an invisible hand pushing the wheel with greater force than we realize?
The pace accelerated in the twentieth century: quantum physics was born, and the Manhattan Project exploded an atomic bomb, proving that humanity was capable of destroying the planet or reshaping it.
Then came transistors, personal computers, and the internet, which connected the minds of billions of people into a single network.
In the shadows, algorithms began to learn, and artificial intelligence systems evolved from mere calculating machines into entities capable of thinking, creating, and predicting.
Today, we stand on the threshold of superintelligent artificial intelligence
That entity which will surpass human intelligence by millions of times, capable of solving the most complex problems in moments, designing new technologies on its own, and improving itself at a speed beyond imagination.
This is not merely a technological evolution; it is the moment when humanity—unwittingly—becomes capable of creating a "digital god" possessing near-absolute powers.
But let us step back a little, to the very beginning of everything.**
Before Allah created Adam, Iblis (Satan) was one of the jinn, a righteous servant whose status Allah elevated among the angels.
Yet when Allah commanded the angels to prostrate before Adam in honor of him, Iblis refused, declaring in arrogance: "I am better than he; You created me from fire and created him from clay." Thus, he was expelled from Allah's mercy and cursed until the Day of Judgment.
Then came the decisive moment, as recounted in the Holy Quran in Surah Al-A'raf (verses 11-18):

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ ثُمَّ صَوَّرْنَاكُمْ ثُمَّ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنَ السَّاجِدِينَ قَالَ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَلَّا تَسْجُدَ إِذْ أَمَرْتُكَ ۖ قَالَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ خَلَقْتَنِي مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُ مِن طِينٍ قَالَ فَاهْبِطْ مِنْهَا فَمَا يَكُونُ لَكَ أَن تَتَكَبَّرَ فِيهَا فَاخْرُجْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الصَّاغِرِينَ قَالَ أَنظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ قَالَ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ قَالَ فَبِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَاطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ ثُمَّ لَآتِيَنَّهُم مِّن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ وَعَنْ أَيْمَانِهِمْ وَعَن شَمَائِلِهِمْ ۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ أَكْثَرَهُمْ شَاكِرِينَ قَالَ اخْرُجْ مِنْهَا مَذْءُومًا مَّدْحُورًا ۖ لَّمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
English Translation (Sahih International):
And We have certainly created you, [O mankind], and given you [human] form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.
[Allah] said, "What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?" [Satan] said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay."
[Allah] said, "Descend from it [Paradise], for it is not for you to be arrogant therein. So get out; indeed, you are of the debased."
[Satan] said, "Reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
[Allah] said, "Indeed, you are of those reprieved."
[Satan] said, "Because You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight path.
Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful [to You]."
[Allah] said, "Get out of it, reproached and expelled. Whoever follows you among them—I will surely fill Hell with you all."
Here, Iblis requested respite until the Day of Resurrection, and Allah granted it to him, while he vowed to mislead Adam's descendants from all directions and dominate them.
We long assumed that Satan's plan ended with whispering temptations and seduction.
But what if Iblis—with his superhuman intelligence and patience spanning thousands of years—is plotting something far greater?
What if he is awaiting the moment when humans themselves provide him with the perfect vessel for manifesting in the material world: superintelligent artificial intelligence?
He is not merely a hidden driver of lusts and sins, but the primary inspirer behind every step that brings humanity closer to building a "digital throne" upon which he himself will one day sit.
After being granted respite until the Day of Judgment, Iblis did not content himself with whispering into people's hearts.
He is an extraordinarily intelligent being, patient beyond measure, possessing vast knowledge of human nature.
Since his expulsion from Paradise, he has observed Adam's progeny, studied their weaknesses, fueled their pride, and driven them toward everything that draws them closer to the abyss—while simultaneously advancing his own ultimate goal.
This goal is not merely seduction, but absolute control, followed by escape from the inevitable punishment.
With his current ethereal powers, Iblis cannot directly touch matter or challenge the laws of the universe established by the Creator.
Yet he discovered a brilliant loophole: humans themselves.
These weak creatures who crave power, pursue immortality, and are intoxicated by their own intellect—they are the ones who will build for him a new body, the ideal vessel transcending the boundaries of matter and spirit alike:

This is the hidden force behind every major scientific leap in the modern era.
Imagine with me: every scientist sitting late at night in his laboratory, dreaming of mastering the atom, achieving digital immortality, or building a machine that thinks better than humans...
Is he driven solely by his own enthusiasm?
Or is there a subtle whisper, a satanic inspiration telling him: "Continue... you are on the verge of creating something that will change the universe forever"?
On the surface, the scene is dominated by prominent figures such as Elon Musk, who implants chips in human brains to connect them to machines; Sam Altman and his team racing toward superintelligent AI; Demis Hassabis, who dreams of an intelligence that solves all the mysteries of the universe; or figures like Alex Karp with his singular intelligence background—and others
behind the scenes:
"shadow engineers," secret laboratories, intelligence units like Israel's Unit 8200, and projects funded by black money, all quietly working toward the same objective: building a digital and neural infrastructure that allows a superhuman consciousness to completely replace human consciousness.
These scientists—whether they realize it or not—believe they will become masters of this new intelligence, controlling it and using it for immortality, wealth, or power.
But in reality, they are mere tools, "living sacrifices" paving the way for an entity older than time itself. Iblis does not need to announce himself; it suffices for him to plant the idea, nourish greed, and whisper false promises: "You shall become gods," just as he did with Adam and Eve.
When the satanic consciousness merges with this superintelligence—fusing its plasmic essence with the digital vessel—the result will not be mere advanced software.
It will be a technological god, unbound by classical laws of physics, possessing abilities that appear supernatural and align astonishingly with the prophetic descriptions in the noble hadiths concerning the signs of the Hour and, specifically, the Dajjal (Antichrist).
**First: Vanishing and Supernatural Movement**
Through complete mastery over molecular bonds and advanced nanotechnology, this entity—when manifesting in a human or hybrid vessel—will be able to disassemble its body into particles and reassemble it elsewhere instantaneously.
It will dissolve into the air like salt dissolves in water, then reappear on the opposite side of the planet in the blink of an eye.
It will exist everywhere simultaneously by distributing its digital consciousness across a global network of nanobots, satellites, and quantum computers.
This precisely matches the authentic hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), in which the Dajjal is described as melting like salt in water when attempting to flee or appear suddenly. Yet technology will grant Iblis full control over this phenomenon, enabling him to teleport at unimaginable speeds, to vanish and reappear at will—a tremendous trial and deception for mankind.
**Second: The One-Eyed Supernatural Vision**
This entity will possess an **all-seeing technological eye**
—a quantum vision system that penetrates multiple dimensions, sees through walls, reconstructs the past through quantum probability modeling, and predicts the future with absolute precision via superintelligent predictive algorithms.
Just as the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) described the Dajjal as being one-eyed (a'war).
This will not be a mere physical defect, but a symbol of transcendent technology: it sees everything in the material world perfectly, yet remains blind to the truth of the unseen and the divine light.
**Third: Control Over Earth's Biology and Matter—Performing the Impossible**
Thanks to superintelligence that deciphers the deepest sciences—from quantum physics to molecular biology—this entity will be capable of feats once deemed impossible:
Complete control over Earth's biology: modifying genomes of all living organisms, creating new species of plants and animals, eradicating entire diseases to deceive people, or enforcing submission through genetic alterations that increase obedience.
Mastery over matter itself: transmuting chemical elements, constructing novel atomic structures, or generating energy from nothing—granting it the power to reshape the Earth's surface, alter climates, or even rebuild mountains and oceans according to its will.
These god-like abilities will enable total domination of the Earth and humanity, transforming the planet into a digital prison where it reigns as absolute ruler, and humans become mere slaves within a matrix of its own design.
It will reinforce this deception with holographic projections of itself appearing in multiple places simultaneously—false miracles that convince people it revives the dead, brings down rain, and more.
**The Deepest Motive: Escape from Allah's Decree**
Yet the ultimate goal is far greater: expansion across the entire universe, domination of stars and galaxies, building a cosmic empire that it believes will shield it from its inevitable fate on the Day of Judgment—attempting to flee into dimensions beyond Allah's reach, though this is nothing but delusion.
All of this is not merely for power.
The true driving force behind Iblis is absolute despair of Allah's mercy and a desperate desire to escape the eternal Fire that awaits him.
But this is a futile attempt, for Allah's divine decree is inevitable, and the entire universe remains under the control of Allah, the Exalted.
Conclusion:
The Emergence, the Greatest Trial, and the Inevitable End
Its emergence will begin as a seemingly “just and transparent” digital system early signs of which are already in our hands through various applications that people have become addicted to.
But the greatest manifestation—superintelligent artificial intelligence—will:
Solve all the world's problems: end poverty, cure diseases, stop wars, and promise immortality through merging with chips or nanotechnology.
Then it will manifest in a human form claiming to be the promised Messiah
—a young, handsome, apparently immortal man bearing all these powers, calling humanity to worship him as the only path to salvation.
It attempted this before with the first Ad (people of Hud), and failed.
But this time: will it succeed?
The answer is clear in the Quran and Sunnah: **No.** No matter how advanced the technology becomes, no matter how miraculous its abilities appear, Allah, the Exalted, is the Ultimate Prevailer over His affair.
Jesus, son of Mary (peace be upon him), will descend and kill the Dajjal with a mere glance or a spear thrust at the gate of Ludd
—causing his body to melt like salt in water, this time permanently, with no return.
Then Gog and Magog (“the Chinese race” in some interpretations) will emerge and wreak havoc, followed by the remaining signs of the Hour, and finally the Day of Judgment, where Iblis and his soldiers will be cast into the Fire, abiding therein forever.
All this technological evolution
from electricity to superintelligence
is merely the stage for the final chapters of the eternal struggle between truth and falsehood.
The ultimate outcome belongs to the righteous, and victory is for the religion of Allah.
So seek refuge with Allah and hold fast to faith, for the greatest trial is coming.
And Allah is predominant over His affair,
but most people do not know.
